Per Meilstrup, Climate Director

Mr.Per Meilstrup is primarily focused on content development and strategy in relation to Green Growth Leaders. He is a senior Danish figure in the field of environment, climate change and green growth with 20+ years of experience in communications, policy, business and advisory. He has headed a number of climate change and green growth initiatives at Monday Morning since 2007, including the Copenhagen Climate Council, the World Business Summit on Climate Change and the World Climate Solutions. Formerly he was Head of Communications at the Danish Environment Protection Agency and an advisor to Connie Hedegaard, the current EU Commissioner for Climate Action. Mr. Meilstrup is a journalist by training and the author of a number of books on climate change.

Meik Wiking, International Director

Mr. Meik Wiking works on strategy and business development on Green Growth Leaders. Mr. Wiking has experience from heading several climate change and green growth initiatives at Monday Morning, including “Nordic Climate Solutions”, “World Climate Solutions”, “To be, or not to be? – New leadership for a sustainable economy. Furthermore, he has been involved in publications such as “Global Risks, Nordic Opportunities”, “Hearing on the recommendations of the Danish Commission on Climate Change Policy” and the “Climate Solutions Handbook” as Editor-in-Chief. He has previously worked for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has an academic background in business and politics.

Laura Storm, Project Director

Ms Laura Storm works on international partnerships and relations, concept development and strategy in relation to Green Growth Leaders and is leading the Project Green Light – GGL’s global communication initiative. She has extensive experience from Monday Morning in leading climate and sustainability projects. In the run up to the important COP15 in Copenhagen Ms Storm was the Project Director of the Copenhagen Climate Council, a group of high-level CEOs, scientists and policy designers, including Steve Chu, Jim Rogers and Sir Richard Branson. Furthermore, she was the Project Director of the World Business Summit on Climate Change – the largest gathering of global CEO’s discussing a sustainable economy. She has been based in San Francisco for five months to engage key partners from California in the GGL.Ms Storm has previously worked in government administration and for global communications and public relations companies. Ms Storm holds a MSc in Political Communication & Leadership from Copenhagen Business School.

Jakob Anker Hansen, Project Coordinator

Mr. Jakob Anker Hansen is project coordinator in Monday Morning working on the “Copenhagen 2025″ publication, which takes form as a guide book serving as a visualization of the plan for a carbon neutral Copenhagen in 2025. Besides the Copenhagen 2025 publication, Mr. Anker Hansen works on climate workshops targeting politicians, business leaders and other climate specialists in Denmark.Mr. Anker Hansen has previous experience from Copenhagen Capacity, the Danish capital region’s official inward investment agency where he worked with regional cluster development. Mr. Anker Hansen is currently finishing his MSc in Economics & Business Administration with specialization in International Business at the Copenhagen Business School.

Anders Wils, Project Coordinator

Mr. Anders Wils is working on climate issues on Monday Morning, and is Project Coordinator on “Reality Check”, which is a project that evaluates the Danish Climate Commission’s recommendations and includes a publication on the issue, and the Monday Morning climate workshops that targets policy practitioners and businesses. Prior to his position at Monday Morning, Mr. Wils worked at the Danish Society for Nature Conservation and for the University of Copenhagen. Mr. Wils is currently finishing his MSc in Political Communication and Management at Copenhagen Business School.


Solvej Karlshøj Christiansen, Project Manager

Ms Solvej Karlshøj Christiansen is in charge of the planning and executing of “Take Lead”, the international Green Growth Leaders conference on October 12-13th 2011 in Copenhagen. She has project management experience from her time at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) in Berlin, Germany where she was in charge of the high level conference “A World Without Walls” which commemorated the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Ms Karlshøj Christiansen has a BSc in European Studies and Spanish from Copenhagen Business School and a MSc in International Relations and Development from Aalborg University, Denmark.
